Spring soccer posts!!! Are you kidding me??

I am soooo overwhelmed by how much back-blogging that I have to do. I mean.... I am posting about spring soccer for crying out loud. I have so many cute pics, and we've had soooo much fun since then I don't know if I will ever catch up. I need to be more dilligent about keeping up on it but here's trying.
* And I don't know why I can't get the stupid underlining off.
This is Em fighting with her TEAMMATE for a good position. We're on the same team girls!

Good soccer buddy, Sierra!

Maddie really took off on a whole new level this spring in soccer. She got faster, more aggressive, and started to play with strategy. If she could just stop slide-tackling people we'd be great! This was Mad's last soccer game. Her cute soccer buddy, Ashely, got emotional at the thought of not playing soccer with Mad anymore. Cute girl! Can't say I blame can her!

Emilee was bored at the soccer game.

One more season down.... ??? who knows how many to go. Good times!!

Can you ever get enough of this guy?

Helping Steve fix the sink

The Dr. Pepper bottle was ticking him off.

Food clear to his forehead.

Posing for pictures with Grandma.

So sweet.

Locks of Love!

Brinlee decided awhile ago she would like to donate her hair to Locks of Love. Our goal was to let it grow until the end of the school year. It was getting pretty long and tangly and even after a trim she couldn't take it anymore, so now our beautiful long-haired girl is our beautiful, and oh-so-kind, short-haired girl. We love her new do! She loves to tell everyone what she did with her hair and she beams when they tell her how great it was. She has the kindest heart and has really tried to imagine what it would be like to lose all of your hair. Those of you who know Brinlee know that she really likes her hair and has to have it just right so she really felt horrible when she learned that some people lose it all. I'm thinking she will become a lifelong hair harvester. I thought it would be weird to have her with short hair but it is awesome. She looks totally cute when she rolls out of bed (that was NOT the case before), she doesn't get rats nest hair, and her hair doesn't inevitably get into whatever she is eating. They might all end up with short do's.
Before she left for the salon - not the best picture ever but you get the idea.

Spring is here!!

I love Spring! I love rain. Especially when it's raining and shining at the same time. I love rainbows and spring flowers and longer days and egg hunts and the first yard work of the year.

Easter pics!

Decorating Easter eggs!

We had a good time dying Easter eggs. Brig was done with his dozen and back to the ds before we could get the camera out (p.s. we really don't let him play it around the clock like it sounds) and Mase just played a safe distance away from the mess. Dad doesn't get into it so he took the pics.
* can you tell I have neither the time nor inclination to do this lately? My blogging is getting very brief.
